Construction Begins On New $195 Million Hospital

Construction has started on United Hospital Center’s new 289-bed facility in Harrison County. The $195 million hospital will be the largest — nearly 700,000 square feet —to be built in West Virginia in more than 20 years. UHC serves a 12-county area and has more than 15,000 admissions a year, plus some 370,000 outpatient visits.
